Whats your Flavor??? Book in Hand , E-book Reader , or Audio Book

*waves* Hi all my followers !!!
Ok, recently I have found an app on my MyTouch that lets me read e-books. I have been pondering the idea of a kindle, Should I or shouldn't I for a while now. But I wanted to try reading e-books before I spent the small fortune on a kindle. I have to say it is AWESOME !!! Here are a few of the ups i have found for all. Which should i choose?
Book in Hand~
~ They have such HAWT covers! *points over,& pets perty cover* awww my pretty
~You soooo can get your books signed.....Which is awesome !!!
~ I love Showing off my books on my shelves for everyone to see. *points down*
~ Does make it easy to share, if you are one who shares
~I love the feel of a book in my hands
~ Did i mention the HAWT covers !!!
E-Book Reader~~ I like to read in bed alot and the lighting is never really good. I can't turn all the lights on beacuse my huband is usually sleeping. So having a lit screen is great.
~ They are great if you are going on vacation, or long road trip. you can have soooo many of your books with you
~ I do sit outside alot with my dogs and read. and it is very windy at my house. I don't have to worry about the wind blowing the pages from my hands.
~ You want a book, click buy the dowload. no waiting on shiping *sigh* soooo nice
Audio Book~~ I love using my ipod at work. i have all 4 Twilight Audio books on my computer. so i just load and listen all day long and don't have to worry about anything in my hand !
~ Its nice listening to an audio book when i drive.
Hmmmmm * taps temple* Which should i choose, which should i choose? Ha i'm greedy....I choose them all!!!

For me it's all about book in hand - but then I have never tried to listen to a book so maybe? Also, i dont have an ebook reader, but trying to read books online is REALLY hard for my, I always print them out, so it's book in the hand for me I think :)
I'm old school-I love the book in hand. I've tried to listen to books on tape, but could never get into them. I have an e-book that looks really good, but it's hard to read on the computer.
A kindle sounds like fun, but I know I wouldn't use it enough to make it worth the cost.
I prefer my Kindle - much easier to hold than a book, I can buy a book ANYTIME, I can highlight and type in notes which makes it easier to do reviews.
I have never tried an audiobook but I do turn on my text to speech on kindle sometimes.
Before I comment on your post, what is this Into the Dark book? I gotta go check it out on Goodreads now. That is one HOT cover!

Okay, onto the question at hand. I am a book-in-hand person. I love to hold a book and flip the pages myself. I do have the Kindle app on my iTouch with about 70+ ebooks but I haven't tried reading an ebook yet. I haven't gotten around to it.
I also prefer my Kindle. I do miss the cool book covers. You will catch me here and there buying the books just for the cover.

Mini confession I use my laptop to read ebooks. I know! I've been trying to be a good girl so Santa will bring me a kindle or a nook.
Audio books no me gusta! My inner voice is much cooler (I think) than some of the voice overs. It sort of ruins the book for me. Like when Karen Marie Moning had that audio excerpt for Dreamfever, SO NOT BARRON'S voice. He was way off.
My dream gift right now is an e-book reader. I read a lot of ebooks and at times I really get tired of reading on my macbook. I would love to enjoy the sheer portability of an e-book reader. I also buy print copies of authors' whose work I like to collect so it's definitely a mixed bag. ALthough, for the last 6/7 years...I've been concentrating more and more on purchasing ebooks. Audio books wouldn't work me...I need to visually see what I'm reading and be able to imagine...I can never pick up something simply by listening to it.

I prefer a book in hand - want to touch it, see the cover, read my favourite parts of the book and I want them in my bookshelf!! I know they need a lot of place (yesterday I bought an additional bookshelf *gg*), but aren't they looking great?
