On the Edge
By: Ilona Andrews
Rose Drayton lives on the Edge, between the world of the Broken (where people drive cars, shop at Wal-Mart, and magic is a fairy tale) and the Weird (where blueblood aristocrats rule, changelings roam, and the strength of your magic can change your destiny). Only Edgers like Rose can easily travel from one world to the next, but they never truly belong in either.
Rose thought if she practiced her magic, she could build a better life for herself. But things didn’t turn out how she planned, and now she works a minimum wage, off the books job in the Broken just to survive. Then Declan Camarine, a blueblood noble straight out of the deepest part of the Weird, comes into her life, determined to have her (and her power).
But when a terrible danger invades the Edge from the Weird, a flood of creatures hungry for magic, Declan and Rose must work together to destroy them—or they’ll devour the Edge and everyone in it . . .

I have read Grant and Meyer and love both but for very different reasons. This is a great group of books here!
Thanks Babe!
I have read Stephenie Meyer, seriously there aren't a lot of us readers out there that haven't! ;) And I loved Eclipse, I think it was my favorite of the three because there is a lot of action in that book...and a lot of Jacob face time (Team Jacob all the way)!
I keep hearing amazing things about Ilona Andrews so I think I really want to give her books a try! And I own Dangerous Highlander, haven't read it as of yet, but it is moving ever closer to the top of my TBR pile!!!

I have read all the authors, although not the books that you are offering. I agree with you that those I know are all good writers whose books are enjoyable.
Jeaniene Frost is the only one I don't know so I would like to enter for her book.
Thanks for the giveaway and for opening it up to worldwide entries.

Hi JoJo!
I haven't read Stephanie Meyer so far, because the series doesn't "speak" to me...
Ilona Andrews on the other hand is one of my auto-buy authors and the books are all keepers for me!!!
thanks for sharing :)
greetings, Ina
I've ready the Twilight saga, Meyer's writting is good, though the books had more of a juvenile tone than I'd like. But I grant that it is in the YA genre, so this isn't a surprise. Just not exactly what I (as an adult) wanted.
jason@jasonkivela.com
I've only read Meyers and I thinks her writing flows quite nicely. I never felt like the books were too slow or too fast. She describes things beautifully without over describing. I've read some stories where I could have done without all the descriptions of everything from the places to the character. She definitely grips you and doesnt let go. Yeah I do like her.
All the other books sound good especially Dangerous Highlander as I love me some Highlanders and I really want to try Jeaniene Frost. Checked out her chat and her books sound really good.

I've read the Meyer books and didn't care for them at all. I found them to be too angsty and juvenile for my taste.

I have the entire Twilight series; I think Eclipse is the best book in the series. I haven't read Donna Grant yet though she is on my TBR list. Jeaniene Frost's One Foot in the Grave sounds interest and way out cool; I've got to get it. On the Edge by Ilona Andrews book has gotten great reviews; It's a must on my list too. What can I say, I want them all if I don't already own them. He He!

I have read the whole Twilight series. This series got me reading again. Now I read all the time. I have Jeaniene Frost's series but haven't read them yet. My friend has the Donna Grant series and I haven't read that yet, either.
beckerjo@verizon.net
I really like Jeaniene Frost's Cat and Bones series and the one spin off so far. I love Ilona Andrews Kate Daniels series but couldn't get into On the Edge. I read the Twilight saga and it was ok, but book 3 and 4 really dragged (but I had to see it to the end). Donna Grant is usually a fun, easy read.
