Denise Robbins Blog Tour: Character Interview + Giveaway

Hello Everyone. Today I would like to give a warm welcome to 2 very special guests here on JoJosBookCorner. We have the wonderful Maureen -Gilly- Gillman, and the scrumptious Lucas Danger!

(setting - A local brick oven pizza place called 900 degrees.)

*I sit down across from the very talented, very intelligent Maureen -Gilly- Gillman and the interview begins............( insert squiggly lines as the scene come into view) *

JJBC- Gilly, How do you think your life would differ if you did not have your gifts?

"Hmm. I’d probably know less about some "

JJBC-Can you tell us where you stand with you and your future with NanoRobotics?

"I now own NanoRobotics and I’m staying on at least a CEO."

JJBC- I think that is a very good choice. I can see a very good future for you and Lucas with that decision.

JJBC- Gilly, I know how crazy things have been recently, but Would you ever do a job like DANGR again?

"Absolutely! It’s creative work that will help our military men and women."

JJBC- *I nod my head in agrement* Thats the things I love to hear! It's always a good choice to help our military men and women!

JJBC-Now I have been racking my brain trying to think of what I would do, but If you could build another chembot what forms would it take?

"Oo. Good question. One that morphs from kitten, hummingbird, pufferfish, to gecko."

JJBC- Ohhhh that would be so kewl! I think i would choose a fox, hawk, a coi fish, and a frog! hehehe Frogs are just too cute!

JJBC- Ok Gilly, now its down to the juicy stuff! *wiggles brows* Whats your favorite quality about Lucas?

"His honesty. You always know where you stand at all times. Plus he’s got a really cute butt."

JJBC- *glances over to Lucas's table* why yes........yes he does

JJBC- Can you describe your dream date with Lucas to us?

"Mmm. My dream date with Lucas starts with getting a brick oven pizza to go then sitting on a blanket under the stars at the lake house and eating it in front of a bonfire. After that listening to Lucas sing country songs while we snuggle.

JJBC- awwwwwwww, that sounds so sweet!

JJBC- Ok Gilly last but not least just some Quickies:

Pizza or burger – Pizza is my favorite!! Brick oven pizza.
Dress or jeans – Dress? Ew! Give me jeans every day.
Half full or half empty – Half full!!
Day or night – Day…everything is better in daylight.
Shower or bath – Shower. There are no doors to steam up on a bath.*WINK*
Coke or Pepsi – I may live in the northeast, but I drink southern Coke.
Winter or summer – Summer! I need to be outdoors. And you can’t skinny dip in the winter.
Dog or cat - Cat. Who has time to walk a dog, like a man isn’t enough work.
Movie theatre or movies at home – Movies at home.More snuggle time.
Beer or Wine – Beer, but the occasional Chateau Ste. Michele Riesling is good too.

JJBC- Thank you Gilly for this enjoyable interview. Let me move on to Lucas and I will see you back at the big table for a few follow up questions with You and Lucas.


*I get up and move over to a table for two in the corner, where the very hansome Lucas awaits my interrogation......um I mean interview............*

JJBC-Lucas, Can you tell us what your first thoughts were when you found out about Gilly's gifts?

"I freaked. Not because it bothered me, but because she didn’t tell me. She lied."

JJBC- *I shake my head* Oh lying is never a good sign, but I bet she had her reasons, and I am sure they were very good one.

JJBC~Now for some people this could be a breaker, but with you I see your a very strong intellengent man yourself. So tell us what do you think about the intelligence of Gilly? All that brilliance!

"Oh, honey, give me a woman with brains any day. It’s part of what attracted me to her. That and all that lovely red hair."

JJBC- *ponders and runs a hand through my dirty blonde hair "what is it with guys and red hair........humph" * Yes......Intellegence is a very attractive quality I agree!

JJBC~Now be honest Lucas, would you support Gilly if she decided to do another project like DANGR?

"Yes. Only I would want to know about it and make certain she was safe."

JJBC- I would say thats an acceptable term.

JJBC~What are your thought about Gilly being the new owner of NanoRobotics?

"Hm. *His mouth quirked up at one corner* I’m just a tad jealous that someone else gave it to her. But don’t tell Gilly that."

JJBC- *I makes the motion of zipping my lips shut* My lips are sealed.

JJBC~Would you stand by Gilly side if she decided to keep NanoRobotics?

"Yes. If she wants it then she should have it and she would be the best thing the company could have on their asset list."

JJBC- I totally agree, with all the brains she has, NanoRobotics can't go wrong!

JJBC~Ok Lucas now your turn for the juicy questions. What’s your favorite quality about Gilly?

"Her stubbornness. She never let’s anything get the best of her. If she says she is going to do something, count on it being done right. That and her gorgeous Irish green eyes that twinkle when we. . .uh-hem."

JJBC~ *clears throat* well...........um....moving on..... *snickers under breath*

JJBC~Lucas, Can you describe your dream date with Gilly?

"Taking a drive in one of our restored muscle cars, grabbing a brick oven pizza and eating on the hood of the car. Afterwards, she does this little striptease thing, uh, well you get the drift."

JJBC- *cough* yes ,well I think that sounds like a very nice date for the two of you

JJBC~Ok Lucas, last but not least just some Quickies:

Pizza or burger – Pizza. This is one thing that Gilly and I agree on completely.
Slacks or jeans – Jeans. Slacks are for women.
Half full or half empty – Half full, otherwise why bother.
Day or night – Day. I like to see where I am going.
Shower or bath – Shower – for two.
Coke or Pepsi – Coke, but I’ll drink a Pepsi out of the fountain if I have to.
Winter or summer – Summer. Summer sports and play is so much more enjoyable. Plus, I get to see Gilly with less clothes on.
Dog or cat – Dog is man’s best friend but unfortunately I am not home enough to keep one.
Movie theatre or movies at home – Movies at home. That way you can stop the movie when you things heat up.
Beer or Wine – Beer. Give me a Guinness.

JJBC~Thank you very much Lucas for this insight into your thoughts. Now if you could followe me, I have just a few more questions for You and Gilly Both

*I stand and walk over to the big table with Lucas and Gilly*
JJBC~ Thank you Lucas and Gilly for letting me have a few moments of your time today. I just have a few last questions.

JJBC~Can you tell us where things will go with you two from here?

*They both looked at each other over their pizza plates and grinned* "We’re getting married and. . .Gilly’s grin lit up her face."

JJBC~ Awwwwwww Congratulations guys!

JJBC~So what are your thoughts on your gifts now?

"I think they’ve helped in our relationship", Gilly answered.

"Definitely", Lucas agreed.

JJBC~ Ya, I'm sure that could make things very....interesting, but helpful!

JJBC~Ok I have too ask these last 2 questions. *looks around to see if Denise is anywhere in sight* Has Denise Shared with you what we can expect from her next?

"She’s working on another suspense story. I think this one has a local cop in it and didn’t she call in Pink Undie Story?" Lucas looked at Gilly for confirmation.

Gilly choked on her laugh." No, silly, she calls it Phish NET Stalkings."

JJBC~ *I almost fall out of my chair* LOL I can easily see the mix up in the names.......

JJBC~Can you share with us some secrets about your creator?

"I got one", Lucas volunteered. "Denise is taking singing lessons and she sings country like me. Not like Loretta Lynn country, but Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban country."

Gilly elbowed Lucas in the ribs. "That’s a secret. "

"I know. That’s what JoJo asked for."

"Hm. Okay, here’s one for you. Denise went into a cemetery for the very first time only a month ago." Gilly’s shoulders lifted in a shiver. "Ick."

JJBC~ *cringes* ya those freak me out too!
