*~* My Thoughts *~*

What can I say other than I <3 Lara’s Breed Series! Squeeeeeee I don’t know what it is but this is one of my favorite series! To me Lara and her vampires  are up there right next to J.R. Ward’s. This is one of those series that I would be happy to see just keep going and going and going………….  

Deeper than Midnight is as expected, a flippin awesome read for me! It was a little slow at the  beginning, but it didn’t take very long to pick up. I don’t think it was a bad start by any means, it just took a little for me to get into the story. Now as far as the Characters, Lara does an excellent job at pairing up her characters. She knows how to have the characters have such a similar story, but be completely different. 2 characters, that have never known the love and touch of another, but for completely different reasons.

Corinne’s character I really did like. Such a strong character. No matter what she has been through in the past for god knows how many years of torture, she is still gung-ho about getting here life back no matter what it takes. I think she deserves Hunter, and what they can give each other.

I <3 Hunter and couldn’t wait to see where we were going to be taken with his story. To have such a life to never feel the love of anyone. To be bread as nothing but a tool. Who could imagine that. I honestly couldn’t see how someone wouldn’t just go insane. Now the love making…….ohhh who wouldn’t love to have a man that shakes with passion in his love making. *dreamy sigh* Now that's some MAJOR connection right there!! My only thing is I could not imagine Hunter as a blonde. I kept seeing him with in the eyes, messy black hair, but i guess that's the wonderful thing about imagination while reading. You can picture who your reading exactly how you want!

Throughout Deeper Than Midnight we get a little more of Harvard, which I absolutely adore!!! I have <3’d Chase since he was first brought into this series. I wanted to strangle him so bad in this book! I seriously CAN NOT wait for his book. I mean come on, its Harvard!!! *wiggles brows*

Overall, Lara has brought us another fantastic read that has you screaming at the characters, crying with the characters, and flat out feeling you are sitting right next to them along for the ride the entire way!
