So the wonderful ladys at

are putting on a
HUGE
Halloween giveaway party with lots and lots and lots and lots *takes breath* and lots and lots of giveaways. Like over 100 books giveaways!!!!
And one of the things you can do to participate is to design
a scary story book cover.
So I am sharing my 1st EVER attempt at a book cover
*ducks and hides* be gentle......

Great job! I not only am not talented, but I would have o idea how to actually make that LOL. I think you did awesome!
I like it! The eyes are a really cool touch. You should watch for cover contests- if I see any I'll let you know. Small publishers have them sometimes, and you'd rock, especially compared to some of the icky covers I've seen. LOL
I think it's great! My only critique would be to make the eyes a little bit smaller. Or maybe slide them up a bit from the tree branch. My eldest son is a graphic artist and you guys with talent all amaze me!

I think it looks great and I couldn't keep my eyes off the eyes...very nicely done indeed. (But I am not surprised in the least, because YOU ARE an ARTIST! Don't forget, it may be a different type of art but you have an artist's soul - with that you could never go wrong.)
