Blog Bash Day 16 with Stephanie Julian + Giveaway

Happy Blogoversary JoJo!!
Hope you celebrate many, many more.
So… who do I pick as my hottie? Can I have two? Considering I’m working on a ménage right now, I’m taking liberties and picking two partners for this dance.
First up, Synyster Gates from Avenged Sevenfold. Love the band. Have seen them three times already and I’m going for four this Friday. Take a good look at this picture. Can’t stop looking, can you? There’s just something about the man that draws you in. Even with the tats mostly covered, he screams bad ass and I’m good with that. So much so that I used him as the physical model for Tivr, the Etruscan God of the Moon in my Lucani Lovers and Forgotten Goddesses series. That attitude is all Tivr. Is it any wonder Cat’s had a crush on the man since she was a child?
Next up, Matt Tuck, lead singer for Bullet For My Valentine. Bullet ranks right up there with A7X as my favorite band and they’re on the same tour I’m seeing Friday. Can you say Heaven? Love their music and Matt is absolutely gorgeous. And Welsh. I love listening to him speak almost as much as I love listening to him sing. I’ve also used Matt as a physical model for a character, but you haven’t met Leo yet. You will soon, though he’s still a child. Eventually he’ll grow up to be a tattooed, kick-ass guitar player. And hopefully you’ll follow along to see why he’s giving you that look.
For my Forgot-About-Read,
I’d like to introduce you to Kathleen Nance’s Olympus series: The Trickster, The Warrior and The Seeker. These books, featuring Greek deities, manage to hold a place in my heart long after other paranormal romances have faded from memory. Why? Because Nance tells such intricate stories with ease and the romance sizzles off the page. I still hope she’d return to this series one day.

Long after she'd given up on his return, Matthew Mark Hennessy strolled back into Joy Taylor's life, bolder than Hermes when he'd stolen Apollo's cattle. But Joy was no longer the girl who had so easily trusted him with her heart. An aspiring chef, she had no intention of being distracted by the fireworks the magician sparked in her. But with a kiss silkier than her custard cream, he melted away her defenses. And she knew the master showman had performed the greatest trick of all: setting her heart afire.

The Seeker

For centuries, Cupid had been getting all the credit, But now Zeus and Hera had decided to put their matchmaking skills to the test. Yet teaching a self-reliant woman and a descendent of Ares—the god of war—to love was nothing short of a Herculean task.
The Seeker
Olympus Series
Stuck with her sister's two sets of teenage twins and a magic show about to go on tour, Dia Trelawny needed help fast. Her irresponsible sibling had disappeared as inexplicably as a rabbit in a hat, but Dia had learned of a man who specialized in finding missing persons, no matter how lost.
I cheated for the recipe. I found this on the Tootsie Roll site. I’ve not made this but really, how can you go wrong with brownies and Junior Mints?

24 Hottie Follwers Thoughts:
My favourite treat to make is a big cheat - vanilla ice cream with fresh ground black pepper on top :D
However if I'm in the mood to wait a bit I love baking fairy cakes (with less sugar and a dash of vanilla essence)and colouring the mix in two or three colours before baking, just for fun :D
Hot fudge ice cream sundaes. Hmmm, I've never tried black peper on vanilla ice cream, I'll have to give it a try. I also like brownies, the fudgey kind. Hot fudge sundaes, fudgy brownies, yes there's a pattern!
My favorite treat to make is fudge. I make over 30 pounds at Christmas time every year because everyone loves it. I make 6 different flavors - most people like the milk chocolate orange the best. I never eat any because I eat the mess while making it :).

I love ice cream a lot but you really don't have to make that so to make something I am sucker for homemade brownies and homemade chocolate chip cookies, my mother makes a killer cheese cake and also heavenly hash. I just love sweets, I like to eat sweet why I am reading thats always double the pleasure in my book.

This may sound odd but it's quite tasty and very easy to make. I like to eat taro ice cream with small bread rolls. I just slather the ice cream on the bread and voila, tasty treat!
Grace in Moonlight sounds wonderful.

Favorite treat is a tough question. I am eating chocolate chips as I type this. I do love desert so I have quite a few:
Double chocolate cheesecake (it's super dense and chocolatey, you can only eat a really small slice at a time)
Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce (I splurge on good Whiskey for this, double yum)
Rum Cracker Torte (the name isn't much but the flavor mix is mind blowing)
Frosting Shots (these are my kid's favorites, obviously the non-adult version!)
Thanks for the giveaway.

My favorite treat to make is cream cheese chocolate chip cookies. They are so moist and chocolaty. Some times I will put 3 different kinds of chocolate in them. Served warm with a glass of cold milk makes everything alright.

I love making fresh baked brownies, and adding little mini choco chips or some other kind of chip to them before baking. I have passed on my love for baking to my 17 year old neice. This year, we may try to make some fudge at Christmas time.

I've recently become quite addicted to blueberry muffins! I found a wonderful & easy recipe (wonderfully easy?!) that takes just a jiffy to whip up.
The aroma that permeates the whole house is enough to leave me happy the rest of the day w/out even eating one.

I have to say my favorite treat isn't really a dessert. I love this taco salad/dip my step mother used to make. It involves no cooking so it is even better!
